This is my first entry on this blog so it is all a bit new to me. Hopefully it will be the first of many, and I will be able to keep those of you interested in my work a little more informed.
Before Christmas I went on travels all be it briefly to Central America. I can honestly say that having had a few years without to much in the way of exotic adventure (this comes with having children) I am pleased to say my wanderlust has definitely returned. I am now also a keen convert to the sights and sounds of Guatemala, it is a truly beautiful country with so much to offer, I shall definitely be returning someday. On my return from my trip I found it incredibly difficult to apply myself to my work particularly my drawings, this often happens after a brief injection of heavy distraction.
After a few weeks of wandering aimlessly around studio and in my dreams of far off exotic places, I am now back in the world of a artist with inspiration.
In a couple of months I will be taking part in a show of African wildlife art at a gallery in the Cotswolds, nearer the time I will give more information regarding this show. I have been working hard towards producing new originals and as usual the pictures that are surprising me with a level of satisfaction are the ones that have caught me off guard.
I guess that'll be it for my first blog but please keep checking in as we hope to up date this regularly and keep it well updated with news about my work including new releases and exhibitions not to mention a whole host of other related goodies.
